COUPLE MAKE HISTORY BY CASTING THE FINAL VOTES IN KENYA’S 2022 GENERAL ELECTION
Jesse Kimathi and his wife Doreen Muriithi drove two hours arriving just a few minutes before the polling location at the Kenyan Consulate in Los Angeles closed at 5 p.m. PST making their votes that last two of the 2022 General election, not just in California, but worldwide. The August 9 vote is the first time Kenyans outside Africa participated in the elections.
