Commissioner Justus Nyang'aya accuses IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati of reassigning his ICT role to another staffer without an explanation. He also claims 377 unauthorized people accessed the IEBC server on election day. And that a person named Gudino Omor, gained full access to the IEBC servers since June, and altered documents without following protocols.
PETITION CALLING FOR CHEBUKATI’S ARREST GOES VIRAL
The petition argues IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati bungled Kenya's 2022 General Election by unilaterally declaring Deputy President William Ruto as he President-Elect amid the objections of a majority of the commissioners. The dissenting commissioners have accused Chebukati of running an opaque process and questioned the validity of the results he announced.
